        <p>Objective of the study is to generalise the current directions of the existing training system in team sports taking into account modern conditions of sports reserve preparation. Methods and structure of the study. To determine and substantiate the current directions for improving supplementary educational programmes in team sports under modern conditions of domestic sport development and sports reserve preparation, theoretical methods-actions (operations), empirical methods, logical methods, as well as systems methods were used. Results of the study and discussion. For the optimisation of sports reserve preparation in the country, Order No. 999 of 30.10.2015 was approved by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, and subsequently amendments No. 325 of 17.05.2023 were introduced, which regulate the requirements for ensuring sports reserve preparation taking into account domestic Championships and Cups of the country in volleyball, basketball and football. The necessity of continuity in the organisation of the training process in sports schools, academies and clubs through the optimisation of the content and practical implementation of supplementary educational programmes of sports training at various stages of training and the fulfilment of the requirements of Federal State Educational Standards of sports training by sport discipline is noted.</p>
