Areas of the social integration of young athletes based on a study of the opinions of sports educators

Objective of the study is to examine the direction of the social integration of young athletes on the basis of a survey of sports educators.
Methods and structure of the study. An anonymous survey was conducted with the aim of assessing sports educators’ understanding of the value of the social integration of young athletes. The study involved 78 coaches and methodologists in the sports practised at the «Sambo-70» Centre for Sport and Education.
Results and conclusions. The lack of awareness among sports educators of the existing measures and forms of socialisation points to the absence of a centralised system for managing the processes of socialisation in the preparation of the sports reserve. The level of awareness of the forms and methods of socialisation is statistically significantly related to the professional experience of sports educators.
