Abstract

Motor activity with elements of sport is one of the most effective mechanisms for including people with intellectual disabilities in the system of social relations, forming their motor, cognitive, communicative and social qualities. The availability, variability of content and the possibility of long-term regular support of sports and specific programs determines their active introduction into the practice of adaptive physical education of children with intellectual disabilities, where special attention is paid to integrative correction and development of indicators of the psychomotor and social sphere. At the same time, currently, in the practice of ROS, there is an insufficient development of comprehensive diagnostic tools that allow us to objectively assess the dynamics of psychomotor development and the level of social adaptation of persons with intellectual disabilities
