Adaptive sport is an important component of comprehensive rehabilitation and social integration for persons with disabilities. It is particularly relevant for individuals with the consequences of cervical spine and spinal cord injuries, in whom motor impairments are accompanied by spasticity, pain, and psycho-emotional disorders. The active involvement of persons with traumatic spinal cord injury in purposeful motor and game-based activities is considered appropriate [1]. A sport-specific approach, which involves the holistic mastery of an accessible sport, improves the consistency of training and its motivational appeal [2]. Powerchair football is a team sport accessible to individuals with severe motor impairments. However, Russian research provides insufficient evidence on the organization of the training process and the comprehensive evaluation of its effectiveness.
